Mission Statement

The Investment Services Group is a high-performing operations and service team focused primarily on GEM’s alternatives investments, products, and investors. The Investment Services Analyst works closely with the Investment Services and Investment Research team to prepare key ongoing investment and investor operational and service deliverables. The analyst assists with investment portfolio and alternative products reporting and analytics and provides systems and data support. This opportunity will offer a high level of responsibility and unique exposure to boutique asset management, with a focus on alternative assets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare routine internal and external portfolio reports.
• Assist with data maintenance and reconciliation across GEM’s front-end tech stack.
• Support the onboarding and service of alternatives products and clients.
• Support business development and related sales operations functions.
• Work closely with the investment research team to prepare, review, and analyze all facets of private portfolio positioning and valuations.
• Prepare private portfolio cash flow models.
• Support investment services and investment research teams with various ad-hoc analyses and reports.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience

Working Conditions

• Position type – Full-time

• Work schedule – Minimum 40 hours / week

• Work location – Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) subject to manager discretion

• Work environment – Office

• Essential physical requirements – Ability to sit and work on a computer for an extended period
